Sometimes

Against thunders, upon waves of rage – a rock,
the solid stage for a girl or a boy,
above the wind and overseas.
The skies sing as they wash all who dare to talk,
silence is all they ask for, it’s all they ask for.

Against thunders, upon waves of rage – a rock,
the solid stage for a girl and a boy,
above the wind and overseas.
The skies sing as they cry for what could’ve been spoken,
silence is all they were afraid of, it’s all they were afraid of.

Against thunders, upon wave of rage – a rock,
the solid stage for a girl on a boy,
above the wind and overseas.
The skies sing as she laments what could’ve been,
silence is all she could’ve hoped for, it’s all she could’ve hoped for.

Against thunders, upon wave of rage – a rock,
the solid stage for a girl in a boy,
above wind and overseas.
The skies sing as she prays for a safer womb,
silence is all that is left for her, all that is left for her.
